2017 Beer Festival News
Unfortunately, we have no dates as yet for a festival in 2017. Pittodrie has ceased to be a viable site for our event in the future.
We are actively looking at alternative venues to hold the 31st Great Grampian Beer Festival. Dates will be dependant on availability of the chosen venue. We will not be constrained to within the period end of May to beginning of June. This was because at Pittodrie we had to have dates outwith the football fixture season.
As soon as we have fixed a new venue and dates, an announcement will be posted here. We hope to welcome back our devout festival regulars and visitors alike to our new venue once decided.

In 2016 the 30th GREAT GRAMPIAN BEER FESTIVAL took place at the Richard Donald Stand, Pittodrie Stadium.
Stick the Festival Location Postcode AB24 5QH into Google Maps and add the date to your diary immediately. There were 100 cask beers and a selection of traditional Cider and Perry.
The Bar Managers extend you a warm welcome.
There is a strict policy of No Cash at The Bar. Purchase beer tokens on entry and exchange these for ale inside the venue. More about this can be found in the FAQ.
In order to keep waiting times to a minimum we are not able to offer carry-outs during most of the public opening hours.
Remember to vote for your own favourite this year.
There is no music or other entertainment at this festival because we prefer the deafening cacophony of garulous people.
Aberdeen FC are providing the catering; CAMRA have no control over menu, portion size, quality, availability or price. In past years Stovies have proven a popular filler. Unfortunately there are very few alternative take-away food venues close by. You might like to try the restaurants at Aberdeen beach, or bring a sandwich.
Toilet facilities are almost without limit.
Disabled access to the venue is available.
There is no access to the football playing surface or stadium stands.
The 2016 festival charity is Aberdeen Lions
