CAMRA Scotland Pub of the Year
We are delighted to announce that the Ayrshire & Wigtownshire CAMRA Pub of the Year, the Steam Packet Inn, Isle of Whithorn, has won the overall Scotland and Northern Ireland Branches (SNIB) Pub of the Year 2014 award. A very well deserved award for Alastair Scoular and his staff.
In light of the current restrictions posed by the Coronavirus pandemic, CAMRA has made the decision to cancel the regional, super-regional and final rounds for this year’s Pub of the Year competition.
Every branch nominates their champion pub for the national Pub of the Year competition, and these pubs all compete against each other.
The 2023 Scottish Pub of the Year is the Hillend Tavern in Dalgety Bay, having been judged against the best pubs in Scotland put forward by each of the Scottish regional branches. The Hillend Tavern will now go onto the next stage of the UK competition where it will be judged against its cou
