Ayre Hotel (Kirkwall, Orkney)

Overlooking Kirkwall harbour, the oldest part of the Ayre dates back to 1791 and it was a Temperance Hotel between 1885 and 1938. There are plenty of comfortable seats in the lounge to relax with a pint after a day exploring the many visitor attractions locally. Close to bus station and the ferries to the outer isles of Orkney are but a short walk away. One beer served.
