Burnside Brewery Update

Burnside Brewery have completed their first brew at their new premises at Woodburnden Steading, just outside Laurencekirk. The new site is not yet formally open to the public and the brewery will be operating from both sites until Q1 2026.

Aptly named, "First Brew" is a limited edition 4.1% Pale Ale that uses only Galaxy hops that is being distributed to those who assisted with crowdfunding the new brewery, and those with a Four Seasons subscription. It has a reasonable bitterness and notes of peach. Another new brew is "Island Hopper", a 6% IPA made exclusively with British hops.

Burnside have had great success with the Alcohol Free (AF) range of beers "Right to Roam" IPA and "Way Finder" lager, with another new AF beer due to be released in the coming weeks.
