Aberdeen Arms (Tarves)

Previously a farm, the pub dates back to 1810, and is now a small, family-run community local in the middle of a conservation area. Very much a cheery, regulars' establishment, it is renowned for its warm welcome to visitors. A wide range of good value, home-cooked food is available. One ale normally served, changing between national and Scottish ale mainly from breweries listed. Excellent wall mounted wood-carving in public bar.
