Under the Hammer (Aberdeen)

Located in a quiet side street near Golden Square just minutes off Union Street, this popular pub is located in a basement next to Milne's auction house (hence the name). Next door to the Globe Inn, serves up Landlord plus one guest (has had Jarl and Bitter & Twisted). No TV and plays unobtrusive background music. Convenient for the Music Hall and His Majesty's Theatre.

Under the Hammer did not survive the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic while under the ownership of the long-time owner Colin Watson. Was taken over and re-furbished by the McGintys group and reopened on Friday 5th November 2021.
