On Saturday 16th of August our local CAMRA branch was delighted to host the Scottish CAMRA branches meeting in the Blue Lamp in Aberdeen. It was last held at this venue back in early 2023. The meeting brings together members from the ten Scottish regions to discuss and coordinate efforts that support CAMRA’s aims and local activities. The meeting is a great way to meet fellow CAMRA members from across Scotland and contribute to discussions on regional and national issues. Each branch provides a report that gives an overview of recent activities in their area.
Despite the formalities the company enjoyed beer breaks with local brewer Fierce ‘Citra and Friends’ being available on cask. Thanks to the Blue Lamp for hosting and Scottish Director Stuart McMahon for chairing the meeting. After the meeting we headed to various city pubs to enjoy a pint and a chat. Please join us next time.
