Over a dozen members of the branch gathered in the snug at Ma Cameron’s on Saturday 21st Feb 2026 to review the results of the voting for pubs to be included in the 2027 Good Beer Guide. This comprises 10 pubs in Aberdeen City, 27 pubs elsewhere in Aberdeenshire, and 9 pubs in the Northern Isles. Unfortunately the names of those pubs are embargoed until the book is published.
However the process also covers nominations for our Branch Beers of the Year, and it is our pleasure to announce the following winners.
Brewery of the Year 2026: Cromarty Brewery (Black Isle), runner up Burnside Brewery (Laurencekirk)
Beer of the Year: Dark Island from Orkney Brewery
