Brig O' Don (Aberdeen)

Large, cavernous, food oriented modern pub, part of Greene King's Eating Chain. It has many different dining areas. There is an outside area for al-fresco dining and also a children's play area. Parkrun meets here on Saturday mornings after the nearby run to collate the results.

Broadstraik Inn (Westhill)

Temporarily closed for refurbishment.

Selling 2 regular beers, this large, modernised roadhouse pub mainly caters for food and families.

Congratulations to Burnside Brewery in Laurencekirk for becoming the branch Brewery of the Year 2022. This award recognises the great service and continuing innovation that the brewery demonstrated during the covid-19 pandemic.

BROTY 2024 Swannay

The branch Brewery of the Year for 2024 is the Swannay Brewery in Orkney, just pipping Burnside Brewery in the final vote.

Burnett Arms (Banchory)

Centrally located whitewashed hotel. New operators took on lease late in 2016 and the main lounges and restaurant were completely refurbished then. The lounge now operates under the name "Pepper & Fogg's". Large function room to rear has its own bar and is well used at weekends.

Burnett Arms (Kemnay)

The Burnett Arms Hotel dates back to the 1800s. It boasts a number of public areas. Dining at the Burnett is flexible, enjoy a simple home cooked bar meal or a more formal approach in the Restaurant.
 

Burnside Brewery (Laurencekirk)

The brewer was founded in Laurencekirk in April 2010 by the Metcalfe brothers, Gary and Dave. They sold the brewery in 2018 to Steven Lewis and Gary Gibb, who have revised the beer range but continue supplying cask ale. Doing beer deliveries locally and to Aberdeen area on Saturdays.

Butcher's Arms (Aberdeen)

Takes us as you find us pub on busy junction with some Nuart on the concrete "beer garden" gate. No longer has a tie with Belhaven/Greene King.

A family owned pub in te heart of Inverurie.

Come to the Butchers Arms on George Street for a day of Real Cider and Real Sausages.

Cairn Grill (Braemar)

The Cairn Grill Restaurant & Bar is a snug eatery, situated in the beautiful village of Braemar. Two hand pumps but perhaps only one ale on.

Closed end August 2022 due to unavailability of staff in the village.

Pub and wine bar in heart of town.

Captain Flints (Lerwick, Shetland)

Believed to be closed for conversion to flats (TBC).

Carisbrooke Hotel (Forres)

Looking much like one of the houses in the area, this hotel sports a neat, comfortable lounge bar with wood panelling, pool table, juke-box, darts and widescreen TVs. The bar is popular with locals and sports teams. Tuesday is quiz night. Now only selling BrewDog keg beer.

Carlton (Aberdeen)

Located on the Castlegate beside the Mercat Cross, it has a gold postbox from the Olympics outside. A basic keg-beer and lager boozer frequented by locals.
