Edwards (Inverurie)

Situated in the heart of a thriving town and close to the railway station, this is an independent bar and eatery, with one handpump on the bar to the right hand side dispensing a variety of beer from various breweries.

Krakatoa (Aberdeen)

Historic harbour-side Dive Bar, in recent years re-branded as Krakatoa, but which will always be the Moorings to its many regulars. It changes character from friendly laid-back local to raucous rock bar on weekend evenings, when there may be a cover charge after 8.45.

Moorings Bar (Aberdeen)

Legendary rock and bikers and anybody-else-who-dares pub which has had a facelift and is now known as Krakatoa. The only pub in this website with two entries, this one retained for posterity.

New Inn (Aberchirder)

Traditional, welcoming inn with wood-burning stoves, candlelit areas and vintage atmosphere, offering a changing selection of five quality ales from local and national breweries.

PS. Aberchirder is known locally as Foggieloan or Foggie.

Redgarth (Oldmeldrum)

This local inn and pub has excellent views of the eastern Grampian mountains. A warm welcome is guaranteed. Under the same ownership for over 30 years and the emphasis is on excellent quality beers.

Woolpack Inn (Isle of Whithorn)

Originally a drovers' inn on the Southern foothills of the Ochil Hills, this is a genuine pub, well used by friendly locals, with a comfortable feel, log stove and low ceilings, and without intrusive TV or music.
