Physical Gatherings are Back!

Pub meeting social

With almost all Covid19 restrictions now lifted in Scotland your Aberdeen, Grampian & Northern Isles branch of CAMRA is moving on from just having online events and returning to physical gatherings.

For those of you who feel comfortable with getting together the first of these is a pub(s) social on Saturday 21st August. We plan to gather at around 1pm in the Prince of Wales and will probably move on as and when the collective mood suits.

In addition we are planning to visit to the various real ale outlets in Stonehaven on Saturday 28th August, with an initial meet in the Marine Hotel at 1pm. For those coming from Aberdeen, train options are 10:24, 11:01, 11:25, 12:27, 13:24 and it takes 20 mins, £6.90 day return (without railcard) but a decent walk is required in Stonehaven. The X7 bus leaves every half-hour, takes 40 minutes, £7 return and drops you in the centre of Stonehaven.

If you would be interested in a visit to a local cidery on Saturday 11th September please email the social secretary ASAP

As pubs hopefully begin to return to more normal trading we would, as always, be grateful for any information updates you have on any real outlets anywhere is our branch area. As we hope you are already aware, WhatPub is a public website listing all our outlets with trading details such as opening times, facilities, beer range etc., and your help would be much appreciated to keep it as accurate as possible. You can submit updates either via the website feedback form itself or email the Pubs Officer.
