Dee Swimming Club (Aberdeen)

The Dee Swimming Club and Humane Society is a large bunker-like building beside Mounthooly Roundabout with no windows and no swimming pool. There is a huge function room and separate bar where darts is played. Sign-in required.

Deeside Brewery (Banchory)

Based in Royal Deeside near Banchory, Deeside is an independent craft brewery whose signature beer is Macbeth.
Beer is predominantly kegged or bottled.

Devanha Brewery (Aberdeen)

Founded 1803. Originally known as William Black & Co. Registered April 1910. Acquired by Thomas Usher & Son Ltd of Edinburgh in 1930 and ceased to brew. The name passed to Vaux Breweries Ltd when they acquired Usher’s Park Brewery in 1959.

Deveronside (Banff)

Lounge and function suite. The Deveronside operates with a normal Public House Licence, there is no requirement to be a member or be signed in.

Drouthy Cobbler (Elgin)

This small, long, elegant pub serves excellent coffee and cakes; plus imaginative breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Bar meals most of the day and restaurant meals only every day. A growing whisky collection stands at around 100 with large Gin and Cocktail selection.

Dutch Mill (Aberdeen)

West end hotel approx. 15 minutes walk west from Holburn Junction end of Union Street. Reasonably priced bar food which is served at both lunchtime and evenings. there is also a large, airy conservatory at the rear.

Reported Oct 2021 that handpumps have been removed.

Dyce Farm (Dyce)

Large, Farmhouse Inns Carvery situated within 10 minutes walking distance of airport in the ABZ Business Park. Designed for car access rather than pedestrians as there are no steps down from Dyce Drive! Large outdoor seating area for fine weather.

Edwards (Inverurie)

Situated in the heart of a thriving town and close to the railway station, this is an independent bar and eatery, with one handpump on the bar to the right hand side dispensing a variety of beer from various breweries.

Elizabethan (Fraserburgh)

With a mock Tudor exterior in the middle of a housing estate and near to the local Academy, and Fire station, this has a public bar, a games room with four dart boards and two pool tables and a very large lounge bar with an 84" TV screen, usually featuring sports.

Esslemont (Aberdeen)

Pub/restaurant situated in the former Esslemont & Mackintosh department store. Upstairs is Mac's Pizzeria so called as the owning company is McGintys! There is not enough room on the bar for hand-pumps and the cellar is tiny. You may find a Williams beer on keg.

Ferry Inn (Stromness, Orkney)

Ferryhill House (Aberdeen)

A small city centre hotel in a quiet residential area with tables and chairs in the extensive garden featuring a childrens' play area - very popular on a summers day, There is a large, modern, lounge bar with a selection of more than 60 malt whiskies and a large restaurant and conservatory.

Fiddichside Inn (Craigellachie)

A classic, unspoilt pub on the National Historic Inventory originally built as accommodation for railway workers. No frills in this pub, run by Joe Brandie for many years until his death aged 88 when the pub closed 24th September 2017.

Fierce (Aberdeen)

The first brewery tap for the Aberdeen based Fierce Brewery, it sells a range of their own craft ales and a changing list of guests. There is also a fridge of bottled beer for takeaway. Basic industrial interior can seem harsh when quiet but convivial when more busy.
