Marine Hotel (Stonehaven)

This is the only outlet in the Six Degrees North portfolio that serves Real Ale. Scottish CAMRA Pub of the Year 2008, and branch Pub of the Year 2008-2010 and 2013. Small harbourside hotel featuring simple wood panelling in the bar and a rustic lounge with an open fireplace.

Mariner Hotel (Aberdeen)

Maryculter House Hotel

Country hotel popular for weddings, serving one changing ale. Nice walk along the Dee riverside and close to Templar Park scouts campsite.

Meldrum House Hotel (Oldmeldrum)

Upmarket country hotel and golf course with the "Cave Bar" in the former larder.

Merkister (Dounby, Orkney)

Small public bar furnished in a modern style overlooking Loch Harray. Very popular with fishermen. Hotel residents lounge changes over to a games room in winter.

Moorfield House Hotel (Braemar)

Small, family run hotel overlooking Highland Games ground at the edge of this historic village. Four ever changing ales served, sometimes just three in winter (in pins). Cairngorm and Swannay are amongst suppliers.

New Inn (Ellon)

The New Inn Hotel is an independent family run hotel in a historic old coaching inn built in 1704. Overlooking the River Ythan in Ellon, the Inn was previously a changeover point for horses pulling coaches between Aberdeen and Peterhead.

Northern Hotel (Aberdeen)

This imposing A-listed Art Deco building dates from 1939, and is located at Kittybrewster just north of the city centre. The lounge Ellington Bar & Diner, accessed through the hotel lobby, is a quiet hotel lounge and restaurant.

Orkney Hotel (Kirkwall, Orkney)

Beer served in front bar but can be taken through to the lounge and also take upstairs to the hotel restaurant. Keg beer from Orkney replaces cask when there is insufficient trade. Over 1000 whiskies and 160 gins available.

Palace Hotel (Peterhead)

Hotel with Diner, Front Room Restaurant, Lounge Bar with live music, Ballroom and Conference Facilities.

Palm Court (Aberdeen)

Sadly, no longer sells any real ale. A long standing outlet, it has undergone many changes of ownership and the ale quality had been declining in the last few years, possibly due to less people drinking there. 

Queen's Hotel (Stonehaven)

Family run Hotel in the heart of Stonehaven providing Accommodation, Bar and Lounge areas, and quality home cooked meals. Belhaven Best.

Raemoir House (Banchory)

Country house estate and wedding venue with function rooms and the "Big Fish" bar.

Ramsay Arms (Fettercairn)

In the shadow of the Victoria Commemorative Arch, erected in recognition of the Queen's first trip to the North East of Scotland when she spent the night in the hotel, its Victorian heritage lends itself to the cuisine in the open, modern lounge.

Richmond Arms (Tomintoul)

Large, imposing hotel in second highest village in Scotland. Small public bar right of entrance and larger lounge to the left where you will find the 2 handpumps. Only one cask ale in winter months (October to Easter).

Rocksley Inn (Boddam)

Hotel with lounge bar.

Royal Oak (Cullen)

Hotel on west side of town close to the Cullen Viaduct, an imposing multi arch railway bridge where the trains used to run servicing the many fishing villages along the coast. The small, modernised bar can be accessed via the side door off the car park.

Sands Hotel (Burray, Orkney)

Overlooking the harbour and South Ronaldsay beyond, the Sands was originally a 19th century fish-store. Meals may be taken in the bar or separate restaurant each with their own menus, both specialising in local seafood. The pub serves one regular beer.

Saplinbrae Hotel and Lodges (Mintlaw)

High quality country hotel in Aberdeenshire with restaurant and snug bar.

Sauchieburn Hotel (Laurencekirk)

We think taps removed and now operating as a Bed and Breakfast. No website or Facebook presence.

Scalloway Hotel (Shetland)

Pub closed, perhaps now operating as a B&B.

Seafield Arms (Cullen)

Upmarket hotel with a 30 seat Bar and Eatery, which offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere with its natural reclaimed wood accents and modern/vintage inspired decor. Offering a traditional “gastro” type menu with a modern twist.

Seaview Hotel (Boddam)

Bar, Bistro and Restaurant serving lunch, afternoon tea and dinner 7 days a week.
