Branch City Pub of the Year (CPOTY) 2026 is the Queen Vic in Rosemount, which just pipped the Grill to the title, in what was a very close competition. Numerous different pubs had received nominations for City Pub of the Year, but with these two pubs receiving the lions share.

Branch City Pub of the Year (CPOTY) 2025 is the Grill on Union Street, which just pipped the Globe Inn to the title, in what was a very close competition. Seven different pubs had received nominations for City Pub of the Year, with the Grill receiving most nominations.
CPotY 2021: No Award
There was no award during the Covid pandemic.
