The Guide Beer Guide focuses primarily on the quality of the beer, and allows you to choose where to go to drink it. This makes it different from a Good Pub Guide (because many good pubs don't sell Real Ale).
How are Pubs selected for the Good Beer Guide?
Members of this branch are responsible for selecting the pubs in our branch area which appear in our chapter of the Good Beer Guide. The selection process is rigorous to allow every member to provide their opinion and to try to obtain a good geographical spread through our large Branch Area.
How accurate is the information in the Guide?
Every pub in our branch area is surveyed by volunteer members of the Branch to ensure that if the pub is successful in being included in the GBG, then the information in the Guide will be accurate. The survey form and guidance notes are available for download and can be submitted to our Pubs Officer at pubsofficer@aberdeencamra.org.uk
