CAMRA Aberdeen, Grampian and Northern Isles Branch

Promoting Real Ale in the North East of Scotland

...Have you tried searching for your nearest pub?

*** N.B. As pubs have been closed since 21st March 2020, the undernoted list is of limited use. However, with the latest 'Road Map' First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, we intend to attempt to keep a track of which pubs are open whenever they are allowed to in whatever limited capacity that may be. There may also be the sad fact that some pubs may well go out of business due to the enforced closure and subsequent loss  of income. If you hear of any pub near you opening, please e-mail detais to ***

Use What Pub to find a pub that you might like near you.

The following list of pubs in our Branch Area are known to sell, or have recently sold, Real Ale. We DO NOT make any promises about Real Ale Quality. If you want to know the best pubs in the Branch Area then you could consider purchasing the Good Beer Guide.

Due to geography and lack of footfall, some pubs stock ale on a seasonal basis during the tourist season only. No promise of Real Ale Availability can be made when you visit. If travelling specially to visit a specific pub then please phone ahead.

Some comments refer to a recent change and will eventually be removed as and when necessary. Please click on WhatPub banner for more information. If you have any further information on any of these pubs such as non availability of ale, incorrect information etc., then please use the 'Submit Updates' tab on the WhatPub website to inform us and we will amend as necessary.
