Dating from 1838 and known locally as the 'Beastie', this is one of the longest established Real Ale outlets in the North of Scotland going back to the 70s and the long defunct Youngers XXPS. It once featured in an episode of The Broons in the Sunday Post! A popular venue with good food, the modern and smart lounge bar, offers two beers from the Belhaven list, which can be brought through to the public bar.

The public bar, due to be modernised in late 2020 and may feature a handpump, allows dogs, has a pool table, and is architecturally interesting featuring a rare mirror from Campbell & Co's Argyll Brewery, established 1710.
