Now owned by Innis and Gunn, Inveralmond have been brewing in Perth since 1997 and make a range of Celtic inspired beers including Ossian, Lia Fail, Thrappledouser and Independence. There is also a seasonal range. Frequently found in Aberdeen and in the Shire they also provided house ales for a number of local hostelries such as the Prince of Wales, the Stag and McGintys but latterly only supply Ossian. No sign as yet of rationalisation of their beer range.
The family run Cromarty Brewing has only been open a few years but really does have Beer Worth Believing In, having been voted Beer of the Festival two years running with Happy Chappy and the coffee infused Brewed Awakening. The beer can often be found in Aberdeen City pubs, but disnae last long.
The Cairngorm Brewery Company, established in 2001, is situated in the village of Aviemore within the Cairngorms National Park. Established and well respected beers like Black Gold, Trade WInds, Stag and Wildcat are complemented by a range of seasonal brews. They have been the recipients of two Champion Beer of Scotland awards. The brewery is open to the public and offers tours; there is a shop sellling the range of bottles and also beer available in poly-pins.
Black Isle have their own organic farm at Munlochy and pride themselves in making a range of organic bottled ales. Cask ale is rarely found in the Aberdeen branch region.

Relocated from Nairn to Upper Hempriggs near Kinloss in July 2017. Mainly only did bottles initially but did start supplying cask at the Bandstand Bar (Braeval Hotel) for their Beer Festival and is now seen at most CAMRA festivals. Bottles of their beers are normally available in the Queen Vic, Rosemount Place, Aberdeen.
A vibrant and modern craft brewery on the shores of Moray Firth in Lossiemouth. Brewing started in late 2012, and less than a year later Windswept Brewing Co Ltd were awarded Gold Medals for APA and Wolf as the Best Strong Bitter and Best Premium Strong Beers in Scotland by the Society of Independent Brewers. The beers are suitable for vegans and vegetarians
Formerly Highland Brewing Company and now re-branded as the Swannay Brewery. Rob Hill's brewery is in a former dairy on Orkney and has both a small and a large brew plant and brews a wide range of multi-award winning real ales, including Champion Beer of Scotland on 4 occasions! Most famous beer is possibly Scapa Special, but others include Island Hopping, Orkney Best and Orkney Blast.

The Spey Valley brewery was founded in 2007 by David MacDonald, a Distiller and a Farmer and is located in farm buildings at Mulben near Keith. Now greatly expanded since its small beginnings, their beer may now be found in several pubs in Aberdeen such as the Prince of Wales, Krakatoa, Queen Vic and also in the the Aberlour and Craigellachie area. Beers include Sunshine On Keith, David's Not So Bitter and Spey Stout.
Also now brews the range of Keith beers.

Small brewery in a garage close to the Seafield Arms in Rothes. Now doing cask and is available in outlets in the area. Sometimes being 'cuckoo' brewed at Spey Valley.
