Ten minutes walk from the West End, this cellar bar was re-opened in October 2015 after refurbishment including opening up into Number 9 next door as a smart restaurant. There are two seated areas on the right and left as you come in with several TV screens showing sports.

OGV Taproom is the child of OGV Energy, an established media group within the energy industry.

On the cobbled Castlegate, in the historic centre of the city, this historic pub is situated in a pedestrian area which used to hold public executions. Opposite the Tollbooth, Old Blackfriars is an atmospheric pub having old pews and stained glass and was refurbished in Autumn 2012.

Bingo, line dancing, and various community activities. Bar with no windows where pool and darts are played. Members only, but there has never been a problem getting signed in as a guest to play darts.

Milton On The Corner is primarily a restaurant owned by the team from Milton Brasserie in Deeside. Standing on a prominent corner of Beechgrove Terrace and Midstocket Road at the top end of the Rosemount area, this former Bank of Scotland premises was re-fitted and opened in early December 2017.

The Orkney brewey is located in the former schoolhouse in Quoyloo near Skara Brae. It also has a range of multi-award winning ales of which the most iconic are Dark Island and Skullsplitter. It boasts a visitor centre and conducts public tours.
